Chandelier Drinking Game
Chandelier is a cup game where every player has their own cup in a ring, with one shared cup in the middle. You bounce a ping pong ball into other players' cups to make them drink.
The center cup is the twist. Land the ball there and everyone races to finish their cup, and the slowest player takes the middle one too.

How to Play Chandelier
Setup: Put one cup in the middle of the table. Each player puts their own cup in a ring around it, close to the center. Fill every cup partway.
Shooting: Take turns bouncing the ball off the table toward the cups.
- Ball lands in someone's cup: That player drinks their cup and refills it.
- Ball lands in your own cup: You drink yours and refill it.
- Ball lands in the center cup: Everyone drinks their own cup as fast as they can. The last player to flip their cup upside down also drinks the center cup, then refills it.
Play goes around the table, and you can keep it going for as many rounds as you like.
Tips
- Keep the cups tight around the center. Big gaps make the game slow.
- Pour small. The center cup means you can drink twice in one turn.
- Bounce, do not throw. A soft bounce lands far more often.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is it called Chandelier?
The cups form a ring around one center cup, which looks a bit like a chandelier from above. The center cup is where the chaos happens.
Is Chandelier like Beer Pong?
Both use ping pong balls and cups, but Chandelier has no teams and no sides. Everyone shoots into one shared cluster, so it moves faster.
Can you play Chandelier without alcohol?
Yes. Fill the cups with water, soda, or anything else. The race for the center cup is just as fun.
