Beer Pong Drinking Game
Beer pong is the most famous party game there is. Two teams throw a ping pong ball across a table, trying to land it in the other team’s cups.
Sink a ball in a cup and the other team drinks it, then pulls that cup off the table. Clear all of their cups first and you win.

How to Play Beer Pong
Setup: Arrange 10 cups in a triangle at each end of the table, like bowling pins. Fill each cup about a quarter to a third of the way. Keep a separate cup of water nearby to rinse the ball.
Playing: Teams take turns throwing. Each player on a team throws one ball per turn, aiming to land it in the other team’s cups. When a ball lands in a cup, the other team drinks that cup and removes it from the table.
Bounce shots: If you bounce the ball off the table before it lands in a cup, it counts as two cups, but the other team is allowed to swat a bouncing ball away.
Re-racks: Once or twice per game, a team can ask to rearrange the remaining cups into a tighter shape, like a triangle or a line.
Winning: The first team to clear all of the other team’s cups wins. Many groups play a redemption rule, where the losing team gets one last turn to tie the game before it ends.
Tips
- Rinse the ball in the water cup between throws to keep it clean.
- A soft arc shot is easier to control than a flat, hard throw.
- Agree on bounce and re-rack rules before the first throw.
